Who we are
Info Host Systems is an IT consultancy and software business based in Bundaberg, Queensland, Australia. You can reach us at hello@infohost.net.au .
What this page covers
This policy explains what personal information we handle through this website, why we hold it, and what you can do about it. In short: we collect as little as possible.
We don't track you
This website runs no analytics, no advertising, and no third-party trackers. We don't set tracking cookies and we don't build profiles of visitors.
Like most websites, our hosting keeps short-lived technical logs (such as the request time and the IP address it came from) so we can keep the site secure and available. We use these logs to fight abuse and fix faults, nothing else.
When you contact us
If you send us a message through the contact form, we receive your name, email address, company (if you give one), the type of enquiry, and your message.
We use this information for one purpose: to reply to your enquiry. Your message is relayed to our business mailbox by our email provider — the service that carries it to us. It is not stored in a marketing database, added to a mailing list, or sold or shared with anyone else.
We keep enquiry messages only as long as needed to follow up on them. Once the conversation is done, we delete them. You can ask us to delete your message sooner by emailing us.
When you pay us
We use Stripe as our payment processor. Checkout happens on Stripe's own payment pages, and your card details go straight to Stripe — they never touch our systems or this website.
We receive from Stripe only what we need to deliver what you bought — for example your email address, the product, and whether the payment succeeded. Stripe handles your payment data under its own privacy policy, which you can read at stripe.com/legal/privacy-policy .
Your privacy rights
Australian privacy law gives you rights over your personal information. You can ask us what we hold about you, ask us to fix it, or ask us to delete it. Email us and we will act on your request.
If you're not happy with how we've handled your information, you can complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC) at oaic.gov.au .
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we'll post the new version on this page and update the date at the top.
